TheraPlay Child Orthopedic Center is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team in Miami, Florida. This full-time role requires a high level of expertise in evaluating and treating pediatric patients, with a focus on delivering personalized, evidence-based therapy in a home care setting.

This position is primarily onsite in the patient’s home, allowing for a comfortable and familiar setting that is conducive to therapy and rehabilitation. Our therapists collaborate closely with families to create supportive environments that enhance patient engagement and overall treatment efficacy. You will work from Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 3 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

• Conduct thorough Physical Therapy evaluations for pediatric patients, assessing their physical abilities, needs, and challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on therapeutic goals, adjusting as necessary based on patient progress and reassessment outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, including SOAP notes and treatment summaries, using our electronic health record system to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
• Assist and educate families throughout the recovery process, imparting knowledge about treatment options, potential challenges, and strategies to support their child's development at home.
• Meet established utilization goals and contribute to the overall business objectives of TheraPlay while ensuring high-quality care.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and speech therapists, to optimize patient care for those receiving multiple services.
• Actively engage in team meetings and professional development opportunities, embodying our company’s core values and serving as an ambassador for TheraPlay.

TheraPlay serves a diverse client base, catering to children from various backgrounds and diagnoses. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients facing orthopedic, neurological, and developmental challenges, ensuring that each child receives care that respects their individual experiences and backgrounds.

• Must hold a Master’s or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida issued by the Board of Physical Therapy.
• Willingness and capability to perform evaluations and treatment sessions both in-person and via telehealth when appropriate.
• A genuine enthusiasm for working with diverse pediatric populations, including varying ages, abilities, and cultural backgrounds.
• Flexibility in adapting to a dynamically evolving healthcare environment, especially in response to changing patient needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and a customer-oriented approach.

• Experience working with children in a clinical or home care setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with pediatric therapy assessment tools and treatment protocols.
• Background in multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Experience with electronic health record systems.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a benefits package that includes:
