Your daily responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at facilitating patient recovery:

• Conduct thorough Physical Therapy evaluations for patients, identifying specific needs and formulating effective treatment plans.
• Develop individualized therapy programs that align with patients’ goals and capabilities, and execute these plans with precision.
• Regularly reassess patients’ progress through detailed clinical evaluations, modifying treatment strategies based on observed progress and feedback.
• Complete comprehensive documentation, including SOAP notes and progress summaries, utilizing our electronic medical record system promptly to maintain accurate patient histories.
• Educate patients and their families about the recovery process, potential challenges, and strategies to support ongoing rehabilitation efforts.
• Meet established utilization goals, supporting the operational objectives of the clinic while enhancing patient outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, sharing insights and supporting patients receiving multiple therapeutic services.
• Act as an ambassador for Perpetual Motion’s core values, championing our culture of care, respect, and inclusiveness.

You will work with a diverse group of patients, including children, adults, and seniors, each with unique needs stemming from various diagnoses and life experiences. To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher, such as a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Virginia as mandated by the Board of Physical Therapy.
• A willingness to provide both in-person and telehealth therapy sessions, adapting to the needs of patients where relevant.
