Title of Position: Loan Analytics & AI Developer

The platform combines a modern data lakehouse architecture with advanced analytics, AI-driven predictive models, and purpose-built solutions for marketing, lending, finance, and risk. Rise Analytics serves a growing network of financial institutions and partners that rely on its technology to transform data into actionable intelligence.

Overall Responsibility: Rise Analytics is seeking an Analytics & AI Developer with a foundation in software development, data analytics, and AI-assisted tooling to support the Loan Analytics team in building, enhancing, and automating the Multi-Dimensional Portfolio Analysis (MDPA) solution. The ideal candidate is a technically versatile developer with hands-on experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and REST API development, combined with working knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, and Snowflake. They should be comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) to accelerate delivery and automate workflows. Experience in financial services is a plus. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn domain-specific analytics tools, and the ability to collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and QA teams.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Build and maintain lightweight web applications and internal tools using Python and JavaScript/TypeScript to support analytics and reporting workflows

· Develop and maintain Alteryx workflows for data extraction, transformation, and consolidation across multiple source systems

· Build Tableau dashboards and reports for portfolio analysis, risk metrics, and regulatory reporting

· Query and analyze data using Snowflake; write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and reporting

· Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) to accelerate workflow automation and code quality

· Develop and consume REST APIs to integrate data sources, internal tools, and third-party services

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production workflows, dashboards, and applications

· Collaborate with Loan Analytics team (product, BI, QA) to translate business requirements into technical solutions

· Document technical architecture, data flows, and business logic for knowledge transfer

· Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and support client implementations

· Stay current with AI tooling, Alteryx, Tableau, and Snowflake feature releases and recommend enhancements


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field, plus minimum 1-2 years of hands-on software development or analytics experience. Or High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field.

Certifications (Preferred, not required):

· Alteryx Core Certification (preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months)

· Tableau Desktop Specialist or Data Analyst Certification (preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months)

· AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Fundamentals certification (preferred)

· Snowflake Fundamentals certification (preferred)

Company / Industry Knowledge:

Preferred: 1+ years of professional experience in banking, credit unions, fintech, or financial services organizations

Preferred: Prior exposure to loan analytics, portfolio management, or regulatory reporting

Preferred: Prior experience with MDPA or similar loan portfolio analysis solutions

Preferred/Other Qualifications:

· Working knowledge of Alteryx Designer for workflow development and data preparation

· Working knowledge of Tableau Desktop for dashboard development and data visualization

· Working knowledge of Snowflake cloud data warehouse; ability to write and optimize SQL queries

· Experience building REST APIs with Python (FastAPI, Flask) or Node.js

· Experience with Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development

· Familiarity with ETL concepts and data pipeline development

· Basic understanding of financial services compliance (CECL, delinquency reporting) a plus, not required
