Summary Description : Reporting to the Store Manager, this position is responsible for the management of the Softgoods sales staff and department inventory control.
Job Responsibilities :
  • Greet all customers in the store
  • Develop a rapport with the customers through conversation to understand their needs
  • Build trust from the customer through product knowledge and the delivery of accurate information
  • Bring the sale to a successful close
  • Expand the sale by demonstrating knowledge of accessory and/or related products or warranty agreements as appropriate for the needs of the customer
  • Operate the cash register to complete the sale
  • Merchandise the store by stocking shelves, counters, or tables with products
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities :
  • Be Friendly, outgoing and comfortable working with people
  • Love to ski or snowboard and some knowledge of how it all works
  • Have basic computer skills
  • English fluency, written and verbal
  • Need to be flexible in your schedule to get the most out of ski time, including working split shifts, nights, holidays and weekends
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and regularly lift 25 pounds
