Job description

About the Position:

Midwest Landscapes is looking for experienced snow removal operators to join our winter team! We’re seeking dependable, hardworking individuals with a strong work ethic and a commitment to keeping our clients’ sites safe and clear throughout the winter season.


Hours:
Snow removal crew members' hours will vary. We work when it snows – days, nights, weekends, and holidays. This is a 24/7 ON-CALL position.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate snow removal equipment such as plow trucks, skid steers, wheel loaders, and/or sidewalk machines.
  • Clear snow and apply salt or de-icing materials as directed.
  • Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly during snow events (including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed).
  • Maintain equipment and report any issues to management.
  • Ensure safe operation of snow plow equipment and adherence to all safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time logs and maintenance reports

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience operating snow removal equipment is required.
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).
  • Ability to work long hours during snow events in cold and challenging conditions.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the shop or job sites.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
