What is a snow operations manager?

Snow Operations Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of snow removal and management services. They organize teams, schedule equipment, monitor weather conditions, and ensure that roads, parking lots, and walkways are kept safe and accessible during winter weather. Their duties include planning for snow events, maintaining compliance with safety standards, and communicating with clients or public agencies. Effective Snow Operations Managers need strong organizational skills and the ability to respond quickly to changing conditions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a snow operations manager?
