Overview
Cognito Systems, a Planned Systems International (PSI) joint venture, is seeking PRN/backfill Athletic Trainer to work at the Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, CA. (This would be for scheduled leave coverage.) Reno, NV provides the airport for the area. Reno is approximately 83 miles north of base housing. This is a very unique opportunity working with our Marines. Remote location with purpose to teach war fighting in the mountains with cold environments. Run courses all throughout the year where incoming students rotate through (smaller courses-be a sniper in the mountains, run radios, MQS specific trainings), they also do larger level courses that run for a month plus.

- Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Athletic TrainingÂ
- Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). Passing score from the BOC for the Athletic Trainer. National Provider Identifier (NPI).Â
- Certification: Unrestricted state license/registration/certification in any of the 49 regulated states, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the US Virgin Islands to provide health care within the scope of practice for Athletic Trainers per state practice acts.Â
- Experience:Â Recent experience as a licensed Athletic Trainer.
- Citizenship:U.S.Citizenship.Â
- Credentialing:Ability to pass background check and drug screen.Current physical and immunizations.
- Physical: Possess and maintain the ability to lift and manipulate loads or weights up to 20 kilograms/45lbs.
- Job Site Requirements:You must be on the premises to perform the job. The environment is fast-paced and multifaceted, with conditions and duties that can change quickly throughout a shift.Â
