Job description

Position Summary: Partner with Operations Leadership Team to make our customers successful by embracing Antunes’s Vision Statement. Under the direction of the Director of Manufacturing, works with Antunes cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement manufacturing processes which maximize efficiency by analyzing board layout, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. This position is the key conduit between Design & Manufacturing in development of new products as well as sustaining current platforms.

 Essential Role Responsibilities:

  • Applies engineering and lean principles for ease of fabrication, assembly, and serviceability.
  • Determines processes, cycle times and designs tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification.
  • Analyzes and recommends capital equipment, facility layout, and product workflow for improved efficiencies.
  • Leads industrial test fixture design and implementation with cross functional team.
  • Leads focused continuous improvement teams throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • Tests control board assemblies utilizing a PC to retrieve various engineering documents including but not limited to: schematics, assembly layouts, test procedures, and work instructions.
  • Sets-up and operates various electronic test equipment using multi-meters, oscilloscope, counters, thermo-couple simulator, etc.
  • Performs repairs of manufacturing product.
  • Generates documentation required for engineering change requests (ECR's) and engineering change notices (ECN's) to include but not limited to BOM's, Part/Assembly drawings
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Team Leader

Essential Skills & Role Qualifications

  • Excellent technical skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of production/quality standards, and assembly procedures/processes
  • Knowledge and experience with SolidWorks, PADS, Altium, LabVIEW, C+, PIC or similar
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Knowledge of MRP

Essential Education & Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
  • Green Belt Certified
  • 3-5 years of experience with electromechanical products
  • Experience and knowledge with MRP, ISO, and SMT Fabrication Equipment
  • Agency Knowledge: UL, CE, CSA, NSF
