Location: Shelby Twp, MI Shift: 2nd Pay: Up to $20/hr

Job Summary

Are you detail-oriented and enjoy working with technology in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are hiring an AOI Operator to support quality inspection processes within an electronics manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone with SMT electronics experience who takes pride in accuracy and quality workmanship.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Set up and operate Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems
• Inspect electronic components and circuit boards for defects such as soldering issues or misplaced components
• Identify and document non-conformities for corrective action
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor AOI equipment issues
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality records
• Ensure AOI machines are clean, calibrated, and functioning properly
• Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to support manufacturing goals

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of SMT electronics assembly experience
• IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification preferred
• Experience in an ISO-9001 manufacturing environment preferred
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Skills & Competencies:
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to identify defects and inconsistencies
