Luxor Staffing is hiring a SMT Operator starting pay at $16 per hour with 2nd shift available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!


Now Hiring: SMT Machine Operator, Test Operator, and Solder Technician. Pay is based on experience!


Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up, program, and operate SMT equipment, including screen printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens.
  • Load and verify electronic components, feeders, and reels against BOMs to ensure accurate placement and prevent errors.
  • Perform first article and in-process inspections to verify component placement, solder paste application, and overall PCB quality.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues such as feeder jams and alignment problems, and report major issues to Engineering or Maintenance.
  • Complete production and traceability documentation, perform routine equipment maintenance, and maintain a clean, safe work area following 5S standards.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of SMT equipment operation experience in an electronics manufacturing or PCBA environment.
  • Knowledge of electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, and ICs, as well as component polarity and orientation.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards; experience with AS9100D and ISO 13485 is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and hand-eye coordination when working with small electronic components.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively with Quality, Engineering, and Warehouse teams.
