Shop Assistant Pay (Full-Time/Hourly):

Shop Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Cut metal material to size
  • Assist welders and fabricators in a variety of work activities
  • Occasionally pick up or deliver materials and supplies using company vehicles
  • Work with all Team Members to keep shop clean and organized
  • Show a strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer service
  • Follows all GUNTHERS’ Safety Standards and wears proper PPE at all times
  • Shows up to work on time ready to work
  • Maintains a positive attitude and supports GUNTHERS’ Core Values and Mission
  • Completes any additional tasks or work required by Supervisor
Shop Assistant Qualifications:
  • This is an entry level position. Prior Shop experience helpful, but not required-Will train
  • High School Diploma, or GED
  • Must be professional and have exceptional communication skills
  • Follows GUNTHERS’ dress and grooming polices. GUNTHERS is a SMOKE-FREE environment. No smoking or vaping.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
