Overview

We are hiring a Scenter Manager (our version of a General Manager) to manage our store in the Apex,NC. In this role, you will lead the charge as we perform services, educate dog parents, and remove barriers to bring dogs the routine care they need on a monthly basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/Responsibilities:

• The Scenter Manager reports directly to the owner

• Scenter Manager is ultimately responsible for the overall success of the store.

• Advocate for all dogs in our care and in our community

• Drive membership sales through health and wellness education

• Ensure that all Scenters are operating within the designated parameters and that all of the daily processes are being adhered to 100% of the time.

• To maintain high operating and service standards through a rhythm of accountability.
• Through the use of the audit process ensure all Scenters are operating within the designated parameters and that all of the daily processes are being adhered to 100% of the time.

• Order tickets, travel tickets, scent checks, check sheets, core kudos, 90-day onboarding, certification process, KPI dashboard, and daily huddles.

• Communicate information from upper management promptly and accurately to your team

• Lead quality control efforts & conduct regular service audits to ensure process compliance

• Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times

• Responsible for employee development through leadership, training and performance reviews

• Managing Inventory and communicating with Scenter leadership team
• Keep track of hiring and staffing
• Ensure Manager is scheduling staff to maintain service levels and a $3.35 LER while maximizing sales volume.
• Ensure the integrity of the employee; technical, customer service, and management training. ·
• Resolve all employee issues escalated by Scenter Manager.

• To handle customer complaints that get escalated to the Scenter Manager.
• Through the use of the audit process maintain Scenthound brand standards: facility cleanliness, reception desk organization, staff appearance, signage, retail and marketing collateral presentation.

• Make sure appointments are managed well among staff
• Ensure each Scenter has the appropriate level of staff hired to meet customer demands.

• Manage the timeliness/quality of all repairs/maintenance of the Scenters and the PG Fleet.
• Consistent focus on and involvement in local marketing initiatives.
• Manage Scenter inventory process for retail supplies and grooming supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment

• Progressively responsible management/supervision experience

• Ability to manage with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the mission of Scenthound

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach & mentor team members in a culture-first environment

• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, internet, e-mail)

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Ability to safely lift 50-70 Lbs.
