Company: S.S. White Technologies Inc./SHUKLA Medical
Location: 8300 Sheen Drive, St. Petersburg, FL 33709

Job Type: Full-time, Regular - 1st shift Mon - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Career Level:Experienced. All candidates must know how to interpret blueprints and be able to use inspection tools such as micrometer and caliper.
Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC Wire EDM machines (training available)
  • Conduct basic inspection as required
  • Perform hand finishing, parts cleaning and other general tasks as required

Qualifications
  • Minimum education required: High school diploma
  • 4 - 5 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC Wire EDM machines
  • Experience with Sodick and Fanuc Robocut machines a plus
  • Ability to interpret blueprints
  • Understand shop floor math
  • Ability to hold close tolerances (.0002")
  • Knowledge in manual machining or tool & die making a plus
  • Ability to use inspection tools such as micrometer and caliper

Physical Demands
  • Must be able to stand for up to eight hours per day
  • Ability to move about, bend, stoop, use hands
  • Ability lift up to 35 pounds unassisted
  • Unaided visual acuity or corrected visual acuity should be at least 20/40 in each eye at infinity (20 feet) with the ability to distinguish colors
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks
