Job description

Title: SmartCOMM Lead Developer

Location: Onsite at Philadelphia


This role requires you to have mix of leadership, hands-on SmartCOMM Forms Design, end-to-end Forms lifecycle process, technical leadership, people management and customer focus attitude. You should be able to design, define and determine the optimal solution patterns and architecture for Customer Communication Management products. Work closely with multiple teams on different platforms. You will collaborate with the project managers to keep project deliverables under schedule. You will work with cross-functional teams to understand market requirements and define the right solutions. You should have excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate project status and technical issues clearly.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage day-to-day activities of team members
  • Lead daily stand-up meetings between onsite and offshore
  • Analyse the requirements sent by onsite and identify gaps. Highlights any risks and issues
  • Review day-to-day offshore deliverables
  • Take responsibility of offshore leave plan and resource arrangements
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly status reports
  • Help team in defect triage and technical challenges
  • Participate in the entire system development lifecycle and support applications in the document processing, printing, and mail business.
  • Support development and production support of correspondence applications like statements, invoices, letters etc.
  • Work on multiple initiatives within Document Delivery technology.
  • Work closely with multiple teams (Interfacing applications, project team, database administrator, developers, architect) on different platforms (such as PAS, ECM, Integration, Cloud etc.,)
  • Build and maintain reusable artifacts to process high volume data, invoke CCM Tool to compose documents
  • End-to-end process flow tracking, ensure data integrity, create reports, send to print and load to archive.
  • Help develop standard for best practice and maintain documentation.
  • Deploy code across multiple environments from test to production.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide production support and development of applications for Document Delivery Technology team

 

Required Skills:

  • Experience in SmartCOMM/Thunderhead
  • Experience in Draft Editor
  • Strong scripting background
  • Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance
  • Setting up and working with SmartComm Appliance
  • Previews and generating outputs using SmartComm API
  • Knowledge of different platforms, Mainframe, Unix & Windows
  • Experience in end-to-end migration project using accelerators
