Job Summary Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Photographic Imaging Technician to join our Media & Archival Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for high-resolution digital capture of historic photographic materials, ensuring strict adherence to archival standards (FADGI), and maintaining the physical integrity of client collections throughout the digitization lifecycle.

What You'll Do In this role, you will:

  • Execute high-volume digital imaging projects by operating professional overhead capture systems and scanners to produce preservation-grade digital assets.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Post-Production teams to ensure all metadata identification, file naming conventions, and image quality control measures meet client specifications.

  • Ensure compliance with archival handling policies and safety regulations to guarantee the secure chain of custody and preservation of unique, often fragile, analog media.

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-4 years of experience in professional photography, digital imaging, or archival digitization.

  • Strong knowledge of professional imaging software (such as Capture One, Adobe Creative Suite, or Lightroom) and experience with various analog formats (negatives, transparencies, and glass plates).

  • Proven ability in technical troubleshooting and maintaining high levels of quality control in a production-oriented environment.

  • Bachelor's Degree or Certificate in Photography, Film, Museum Studies, or a related technical field (preferred).
