This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Southeast Regional Controls Sales Manager home based near a major hub in the Southeast (Florida - East of Texas - North Carolina) but ideally near Atlanta with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

  • Understands and contributes to the value propositions of the product lines we bring to the market to engineers and end users.
  • Helps drive brand awareness and activation together with our marketing teams for your specifiers & end users.
  • Establishes strong customer intimacy and nurtures relationships with key customer contacts through frequent and productive sales visits.
  • Monitors and reports on funnel conversion to orders, analyzing triggers and opportunity quality to enhance conversion effectiveness
  • Continuously builds sales, negotiation, and customer engagement skills through learning initiatives, on-the-job experience, and coaching to enhance overall sales effectiveness.

More about you

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field to understand sales principles and technical product knowledge.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales roles focused on technology or innovative solutions, with proven success in customer acquisition and sales execution.
  • No mandatory licenses required; however, certifications in sales methodologies are beneficial for effective sales management.

  • Salary:$107,000 - $156,000 based on experience
  • Bonus:target bonus opportunity - 35%
