Welder / Fabricator– Central Phoenix

Colby Welding & Radiator Inc.

Colby Welding & Radiator Inc. has been providing high-quality welding and radiator repair services for the automotive, trucking, industrial, construction, and mining industries since 1997. We are nationally known and locally owned.

Compensation

  • Salary: $24 – $27 Hourly / Depending on Experience

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

  • Miscellaneous welding and fabrication including but not limited to:
  • Trailer Frames
  • Fuel Tanks (aluminum and steel)
  • Charge air cores
  • Aluminum radiator cores
  • Read & interpret basic plans

Qualifications

  • Must have reliable transportation and show up for work on time.
  • MIG / TIG Welding required, TIG Aluminum a plus
  • Looking for an individual with basic fabrication skills, work order interpretation and ability to follow verbal instruction.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet through the day
  • Operating plasma cutter a plus
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Must work well with others
  • Able to be self-reliant with ability to take ownership of tasks given
  • WELD TEST REQUIRED
  • Bilingual is a plus (not required).
