JOB PURPOSE:
Reporting to the VP Talent Management, the Director of Talent Acquisition will play a crucial role in ensuring the talent strategies and tactics necessary for creating and maintaining an extraordinary place to work are implemented effectively. In this newly created, highly collaborative position, the Director of Talent Acquisition will play a key role during a time of growth and transformation. The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for setting the recruitment strategy, branding, metrics, and candidate and new hire experiences. The successful candidate needs to be creative and digitally astute in their use of technology and social media to attract the next generation of top talent. The Director of TA will provide leadership and mentoring to the Talent Acquisition team and engage with leadership as a trusted partner. This opportunity will enable you to make a significant and meaningful impact on our culture while consistently bringing onboard top talent. Our HR function is undergoing an exciting transformation to better support a high growth, dynamic business and this role has the opportunity to help formulate strategies for three key talent pillars:
CRITICAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Talent Acquisition: To showcase the compelling opportunities that exist at NTG-TI and deliver efficient talent solutions to the company, assuring a powerful pipeline of ready-now talent.
  • Design, develop and execute a talent acquisition strategy and program that consistently delivers the talent needed to grow the business.
  • Take charge of planning, developing, managing and overseeing employer branding activities.
  • Identify and implement sourcing strategies to seek out and hire top talent for open positions across the organization.
  • Manage third-party recruitment partners and firms, to ensure only the best partners are used.
  • Collaborate with other business leaders to enhance and perfect the candidate experience.
  • Lead the recruitment team, with a focus on developing top talent that are exceptional brand ambassadors for the company.
  • Create a recruitment dashboard to measure KPIs and consistently meet the agreed-upon targets.
  • Build a strong reputation for finding great talent, aligning talent capabilities with emerging business needs, and acting with agility to build talent pipelines readying the organization to meet future workforce needs.
Talent Assessment: To leverage robust talent assessment tools, paired with an exemplary selection process, resulting in top talent being hired across the organization.
  • Design a best-in-class talent assessment process, by role, that includes industry-recognized tools and methods, such as cognitive assessments, simulations and in-depth interviews.
  • Create and investigate innovative questions for predicting successful performance and organizational fit for key roles across the organization.
  • Ensure the way assessments are built, delivered, and maintained mirrors both current and future business demands.
  • Serve as an internal SME to HR and business leaders on centrally-managed assessment processes, tools, and programs.
SUPPORTING DUTIES TO THE CRITICAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Able to understand and leverage historical and broad organizational data and translate that into meaningful insights about defined key talent populations.
  • Will have a naturally inquisitive demeanor and an ability to identify trends across disparate sources.

  • Proven ability to influence and engage business partners to gain agreement on solutions and prioritization of work requests.
  • Possesses sound analytical skills and the ability/willingness to make critical decisions in a timely manner

  • Superior ability to communicate professionally, both written and verbally with individuals at all levels of the organization and external contacts.

  • Requires travel for business, estimated 25% of the time
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business administration, or related field is required. (Master's in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.)
  • At least 8 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a minimum of 3 years leading a talent acquisition team...
  • 5+ years' experience in recruiting and sourcing top talent preferably in a corporate environment with high volume roles across multiple disciplines.
  • Track record of developing a team of Talent Acquisition professionals with an emphasis on the importance of strong business acumen and proactive sourcing.
  • Excellent leadership capabilities and demonstrated ability to manage others directly and indirectly, while fostering a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office suite applications, HRIS and other data analytic tools.
