Job description

Role Summary:

We are seeking a self-motivated, independent all-around technician to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on a variety of equipment. If you are a systematic problem solver that understands a high-volume manufacturing environment and want to make an impact, come join our team!

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair all critical assets to ensure their proper operating condition
  • Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on various electrical and mechanical systems; institute a repair plan, which is acceptable to the department supervisor
  • Follow up with approved repairs immediately
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems down to the component level
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure it is running in optimal condition, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders as needed
  • Read and utilize schematics (mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic)
  • Perform construction work when needed, such as concrete finishing, painting, roofing, flooring, fabricating, etc.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required (experience will be considered in lieu of education)
  • 5+ years of experience with reading blueprints and correlating them to physical components, performing as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or production environment, repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic systems
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment while adhering to company policies, quality policies, and industry standards
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
  • Detailed oriented, organized, and able to demonstrate a high sense of urgency
