Job Description
Future Aviation, Inc., a HEICO Corporation (NYSE: HEI) Repair Group facility, located in Southwest Florida, is the largest independent regional airline component MRO facility in the industry. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team.
The Maintenance Mechanic maintains building appearance and functionality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities - Maintenance Mechanic
  • Maintains buildings, performing routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring.
  • Replaces air conditioner filters at scheduled intervals.
  • Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the facility.
  • Installs, programs and repairs automated equipment.
  • Checks and replaces light bulbs as needed.
  • Cleans and maintains the overall appearance of the facility.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
  • Performs handyman construction duties such as fabrication and repair of counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
  • Coordinate with vendors on work orders to repair facility or equipment when necessary
  • Notifies management of needed repairs or unusual noise/operation of equipment.
  • Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE
At least two years of relevant experience.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE OR ABILITIES
  • Language: English, ability to read and comprehend instructions.

  • Reasoning Abilities: Ability to use cognitive reasoning

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, squat, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The Team Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May work with toxic or caustic chemicals
