You will work with project managers, field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and customers while gaining experience across the entire commercial project process.Experienced HVAC installers, technicians, foremen, and field professionals who are interested in moving into estimating or project management are encouraged to apply.Compensation$65,000-$85,000 annually based on experience and qualificationsFull-time positionOpportunity to advance into greater estimating responsibility or a Commercial HVAC Project Manager roleWhat You'll DoReview commercial HVAC plans, specifications, and bid documentsComplete equipment, material, and labor takeoffsObtain vendor and subcontractor pricing and prepare project estimatesIdentify equipment, ductwork, piping, controls, insulation, and other project requirementsPrepare proposals and identify scope gaps, exclusions, and potential project risksAssist with equipment selection, value engineering, and purchasingPrepare and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and purchase ordersMonitor equipment lead times, deliveries, project costs, and schedulesCoordinate with project managers, field supervisors, vendors, subcontractors, and general contractorsAssist with material planning and project startupVisit jobsites when needed to review project conditions and resolve coordination issuesSupport projects through completion and closeoutQualificationsTwo or more years of commercial HVAC, mechanical contracting, estimating, project coordination, project management, or related experience preferredWorking knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and installation practicesAbility to read mechanical plans, specifications, equipment schedules, and construction documentsUnderstanding of ductwork, refrigerant piping, hydronic piping, controls, insulation, and commercial HVAC systemsCommercial HVAC field experience is highly valuedEstimating, construction takeoff, or project coordination experience is preferredStrong mathematical and analytical abilitiesExcellent organization and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple bids and projects while meeting deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and standard business softwareExperience with HVAC estimating, takeoff, construction, or project management software is a plusValid driver's license and ability to travel locally when neededWho We're Looking ForYou understand commercial HVAC and are ready to take the next step in your career.
