Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, our Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) plays a crucial role in helping our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

About the Role:

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' communication skills, cognitive abilities, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' communication and swallowing functions

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing disorders

  • Provide therapy to patients in a variety of settings, including individual and group sessions

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress

  • Participate in regular staff meetings and in-service education to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

  • Wisconsin licensure (or eligibility for licensure)

  • Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting is preferred
