Job description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication goals as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or experienced SLP. With a focus on educational settings near the Brockton, MA area, this role is ideal for professionals passionate about helping children succeed academically and socially. Beginning in March and continuing through the end of the school year (EOSY), your impact will be both meaningful and memorable.
Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license, or a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with relevant school-based experience
  • Previous work in school environments is highly desired
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Current knowledge of therapy techniques and individualized education plan (IEP) processes
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a certified SLP (for SLPA applicants)
  • Support individualized education programs, helping students reach their communication and learning milestones
  • Administer therapy activities in one-on-one and small group sessions, both in and out of the classroom
  • Assist with progress data collection and update documentation to support IEP goals
