Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN) Albuquerque, NM

Position Overview

Strong Force Staffing is proud to partner with a respected Home Health & Hospice provider serving Albuquerque. We are seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver patient-centered care in the home setting. This role is ideal for clinicians looking to supplement their current role, gain additional experience in home health and hospice, or explore new practice settings with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide skilled speech, language, and swallowing interventions per physician orders.
  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and ongoing care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with professional and organizational standards.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Masters degree (M.S. or M.A.) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active New Mexico SLP license in good standing
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

  • Prior home health or hospice experience
  • Experience with OASIS documentation
  • Dysphagia certification (VitalStim or similar)
