Job description

Become an integral resource for young learners by providing speech-language therapy services in a supportive school-based environment near Middletown, DE. This contract opportunity allows you to make a lasting impact in the lives of preschool and elementary-aged students while enjoying a flexible schedule that supports work-life balance. Choose between full-time or part-time hours, with a structured weekday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Your expertise in pediatric speech pathology and your commitment to fostering communication skills will be valued daily-whether your background is rooted in SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, teletherapy, or school-based SLP practice. You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to help children reach critical developmental milestones.
Key Qualifications:

  • Current Delaware (DE) SLP license required
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, best practices in assessment, and individualized intervention
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or candidates in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) encouraged to apply
Position Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in preschool and elementary settings
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and participate in IEP development
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Document progress and maintain compliance records
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for student success
  • Deliver teletherapy sessions as needed
