As a Slot Attendant, you play a vital role in creating a dynamic and welcoming casino experience. You are the front line of guest interaction-delivering prompt, courteous service while handling change, jackpots, ticket voucher fills, and redemptions with accuracy and enthusiasm. Your ability to perform minor machine repairs and ensure the integrity of company assets directly supports smooth operations and guest satisfaction. By fostering a vibrant, energetic atmosphere on the casino floor, you help make each guest's visit exciting and memorable.

Job Description:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
  • Monitor assigned slot section(s) efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
  • Proactively assist guests by responding to service lights, processing jackpots, redeeming ticket vouchers, and making minor machine repairs
  • Refill printer vouchers, inspect for counterfeit currency, and enter jackpot data accurately into the computer system
  • Handle and secure company-issued keys in compliance with departmental procedures
  • Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor while resolving guest disputes and promoting special offers or property amenities
  • Communicate effectively with team members via radio to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain an accurate assigned currency bank and follow all proper money-handling procedures
  • Coordinate with Casino Operations and Security to detect and report any suspicious behavior or attempts to cheat
  • Notify Slot Operations management of floor irregularities and escalate issues as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 6 months of experience in a guest service or casino operations role preferred
  • Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a high-paced environment
  • Comfortable learning and retaining working knowledge of slot machines, payout procedures, and documentation requirements
  • Experience handling cash and operating systems such as computers, radios, scanners, and adding machines
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
  • Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system

Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States
