Job description

INDIAN PREFERENCE POLICY: Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified Indian candidates in accordance with the Indian Preference Act of 1934 (Title 25, USC. Section 472) POSITION: SLOT ATTENDANT DEPARTMENT: SLOTS REPORTS TO: SLOT DIRECTOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide excellent customer service for the Casino guests Must ensure that jackpots are attended to quickly Ability to ensure that the slot floor has minimum machine downtime Must be friendly and courteous to guests at all times Ability to attend to jackpot and hopper fills as per jackpot and slot short procedures Must ensure that all equipment functions properly and efficiently Must report any malfunctions immediately Ability to attend to coin jams in the hopper and coin comparator immediately Ability to conduct minor technical repairs Knowledge of all machine instructions and codes Must be able to promptly answer any calls for assistance from customers Ability to perform other duties such as serving drinks to players Any and all other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 21 years of age or older Cannot be convicted of a felony Must submit to a pre-employment drug test and qualify for gaming license High school diploma/GED preferred Previous Slot and customer service experience preferred Requires standing, walking for long periods up to 4 hours at a time Must be able to lift 60 pounds repeatedly and must be able to assist in lifting 200 lbs. on occasion Cannot be colorblind Must have good finger and manual dexterity, this includes, frequent grasping, bending, and reaching Must be able to perform repetitive motions, and have excellent hand-eye coordination PUBLIC RELATIONS: Important attributes of any employee of the Havasu Landing Casino and Hotel, along with the official performance of duties, are personal appearance and public relations.

Each employee is expected to make every effort to be well-informed about the casino, pleasant, courteous, and cooperative, and to act in a manner to command respect of co-workers and all other personnel.
