Responsibilities

  • Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all circuitry and electrical components of slot and/or gaming electrical equipment.
  • Reports serious technical problems or abnormalities to leadership.
  • Responsible for performing repairs and maintenance tasks on slot machines and associated gaming equipment.
  • Ensures the smooth operation of our slot machines which includes but is not limited to minimizing downtime and maintaining a comprehensive inventory of necessary parts.
  • Executes repairs and component-level circuit board repairs to uphold the inventory of slot machine associated equipment.
  • Conducts maintenance and repairs on slot machines, slot machine parts, and other gaming-related equipment.
  • Participates in the installation, movement, and removal of gaming-related equipment to ensure a seamless transition in slot moves.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all gaming regulations and safety standards are met.
  • Maintains knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties of the Slot Technical Department.
  • Responsible for the proper safeguarding of assigned assets. Reports concerns to leadership as soon as they are known.
  • Ensures work area is always clean.
  • Responds to guest needs according to service, policy, and procedure expectations. Escalates potential issues and/or concerns to Manager as needed.
  • Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • General Education Degree (GED) or High School Diploma; one to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have knowledge of how slot and poker machines function.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must have knowledge of how to make component-level circuit board repairs.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work high volume days, nights, holidays, and weekends, as needed.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
