Responsibilities

Job Summary: As a Fixtures and Equipment (F&E) Clerk, you'll perform Warehouse support and clerical duties that keep our facilities operating and organized.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

General Warehouse Operations:

  • Performs work tasks in a safe manner, in accordance with work instructions; proactively takes action to improve safety.
  • Completes all assignments in an organized, clean, accurate, and damage-free manner.
  • Uses time efficiently and productively to support facility goals for on-time release of trailers.
  • Operates equipment per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to prevent equipment and facility damage.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area at all times.
  • Performs all F&E Direct Partner duties.

Receiving Clerk:

  • Verifies product ID (UPC, pack, size, description) and quantity against purchase orders.
  • Monitors the receiving schedule daily to ensure preparation for current and upcoming deliveries.
  • Provides courteous and professional service to all delivery drivers.
  • Confirms the correct "Ship To" location in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) prior to unloading.
  • Documents and photographs any damaged equipment, preferably while still in the trailer.
  • Accurately notes any damage, shortages, or overages on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing.
  • Generates Over, Short, and Damaged (OS&D) reports for any discrepancies.
  • Verifies piece count against the BOL or Diad board prior to signing.
  • Inspects equipment for accuracy before receiving; opens boxes as needed to confirm contents.
  • Receives items into WMS, prints identification tags, and properly placards equipment.
  • Adheres to slotting effectiveness guidelines when placing equipment in designated locations.
  • Organizes and files all receiving documentation at the end of each workday.

Shipping Clerk:

  • Performs workload planning and collaborates with the Load Planning department to modify store deliveries.
  • Conducts daily trailer counts to ensure yard accuracy.
  • Opens master cases and verifies correct purchase orders match shipping/receiving orders.
  • Corresponds with acquisitions to ensure proper purchase orders are received.
  • Monitors the F&E inbox regularly to stay updated on shipping requests and communications.
  • Evaluates the feasibility of each shipping request based on current resources and constraints.
  • Determines the appropriate mode of transportation for each shipment.
  • Maintains and updates the F&E Shipping Board to reflect current shipping activities.
  • Ensures two partner audits are completed for each shipment.
  • Does not load trailers outside the approved 48-hour window without leader authorization.
  • Oversees the order selection process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Confirms that all equipment is loaded safely, correctly, and securely.
  • Completes or references the F&E Outbound Checklist to verify shipping readiness.
  • Releases trailers in the Yard Management System (YMS) upon completion of loading.
  • Immediately applies shipped orders to inventory records after trailer release.
  • Monitors trailer usage and maintains an accurate count of available trailers.
  • Follows any verbal instructions provided by leadership promptly and accurately.

Stock Control Clerk:

  • Monitors loading activity and verifying completed orders are loaded as planned.
  • Performs item/slot maintenance to ensure accurate product storage.
  • Ensures warehouse inventory is accurate.
  • Monitors and evaluates the status of Forklift Operators, Stockers, and Order Selectors.
  • Opens master cases and verifies correct purchase orders.
  • Coordinates with acquisitions and logistics teams to ensure proper inventory is shipped.

Flow of Goods Specialist:

  • Coordinates all issues related to facility inventory integrity and product movement.
  • Coordinates cycle counts and performs daily/next day receiving audits.
  • Interprets reports related to inventory control and special distribution items.
  • Safely operates all material handling equipment.
  • Ensures completion of inventory verification and tracking processes.
  • Ensures daily operational benchmarks are met (on-time releases and receiving).
  • Handles Transfer Requests from Acquisition Managers.
  • Verifies incoming Purchase Orders at offsite facilities.
  • Conducts quarterly facility audits for structural integrity.

Shelf Edge Depot Only Responsibilities:

  • Oversees receiving, processing, and tracking of all inbound fixture deliveries.
  • Issues and updates fixture order tickets; manages fixture database including editing and reporting.
  • Processes repurposed fixtures per SOPs; determines refurbishment needs and recycling.
  • Supports Shelf Edge Manager-related processes including project and inventory management.
  • Serves as first point of contact for plan-o-gram issues; escalates as needed.
  • Responds to internal customer inquiries within SOP timelines.
  • Spends scheduled time in stores annually to perform Shelf Edge duties and report findings.
  • Maintains warehouse and material handling equipment for daily productivity.
  • Collaborates with partners and vendors to ensure delivery readiness.
  • Communicates fixture availability and location to stakeholders.
  • Provides reporting on fixture issues, cost avoidance, and inventory status.
  • Manages execution and shipping of Depot projects, coordinates resources and logistics.
  • Creates BOLs and manages outbound shipments using various shipping services.
  • Supports Depot Manager with policy enforcement and administrative tasks.
  • Attends project meetings and provides subject matter expertise.
  • Supports inbound and systems leads; manages inbound functions and data integrity.
