This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and reliable Respite Provider to support a child in a fun, safe, and structured environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and has experience supporting autistic children.

Location: Menomonie, WI
Respite services will take place in the community and in the provider's home.

About the Child
The child enjoys:
Slime
Swimming and diving (waterpark)
Spending time at the river
Visiting parks
Going for walks
Rainbows (especially pink and purple)
Favorite condiments include honey, ranch, and ketchup!
 
Schedule
Two overnight shifts per month
An additional 22.5 daytime hours per month
Consistent scheduling and the ability to maintain the child's routine are important.
 
Pay
$14.13 per hour for daytime respite services
$207 per overnight shift
$0.70 per mile reimbursement while transporting the child to community outings
 
Qualifications
Experience working with autistic children
Current CPR certification
Valid driver's license
Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
Dependable, patient, and able to follow established routines
Comfortable participating in community activities and providing care in your home
