Sloomoo launched in October of 2019 with an immersive 12,000 square-foot experience in Soho, NYC, where hand-crafted, artisanal slime (dozens of textures and the most delicious scents), soothing ASMR, and wondrous delights (you can slingshot slime, walk on slime, design your own slime, and more) converge with glossy, contemporary design.


Sloomoo’s universe has expanded - there are now a total of 5 Institutes (NYC, LA, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta) and two MiniMoos (Boston, Philadelphia) with more to come.


MiniMoos are smaller than the Institutes but packed with as much color, surprise, and play.

Position SummaryThe Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production facility, ensuring efficient workflows, high-quality product output, and a safe, organized environment. This role leads and supports the production team, drives performance, and ensures that production targets align with retail, experience, and e-commerce demands.The Production Supervisor will take ownership of team leadership, production planning, and operational execution, while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture. They will collaborate cross-functionally with inventory, retail, and leadership teams to ensure seamless operations and optimal product availability.

Responsibilities: Operations & Production Management
  • Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency of all products.

  • Ensure production schedules align with store demand, experience traffic, and e-commerce needs.

  • Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization across the production facility.

  • Monitor and control product quality, ensuring all slime meets brand standards.

  • Oversee and verify all incoming and outgoing pallets and prevent discrepancy.

  • Design and optimize production workflows for efficiency and scalability.

  • Ensure proper issuing and receiving of materials against purchase orders.

  • Receive deliveries.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and supervise a team of production staff (5–15 team members).

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training to build a multi-skilled and high-performing team.

  • Create schedules that optimize coverage, productivity, and team retention.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating work environment.

  • Ensure proper workstation setup, material flow, and task allocation.

  • Reduce bottlenecks and downtime through continuous improvement.

Inventory & Fulfillment
  • Partner with inventory and retail teams to ensure optimal stock levels across all channels.

  • Oversee e-commerce fulfillment, ensuring orders are accurate and delivered on time.

  • Executing inventory tracking procedures, cycle count, shelf audits, and real time updates into Acumatica to maintain inventory levels.

  • Support forecasting and production planning to meet demand without overproduction.

Performance & Efficiency
  • Track production metrics, labor costs, and output to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and quality.

  • Support budget management by aligning labor and production costs with sales performance.

Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with the Production Manager and cross-functional teams to align priorities.

  • Communicate operational updates, challenges, and solutions effectively.

  • Respond proactively to operational challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to production.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain staffing levels aligned with operational and budgetary goals.

  • Contribute to quarterly planning and forecasting initiatives.

  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve production processes.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, restaurant, or operations management.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficient in leading and managing a team of 5-15 team members.

  • Experience in product manufacturing and forecasting.

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack, Project Management Systems (Asana or similar).

  • Familiarity with scheduling software and payroll systems.

  • This position requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, repetitive motions, arm waving, bending, kneeling and climbing, at times while wearing a costume or uniform.

  • Minimum age: 18 years.
