About The Role
The Presentation Specialist (PS) is an integral part of the team, which is responsible for delivering memorable engagements with potential and existing clients. As PS, you will work closely with cross functional teams (Account, Creative, Strategy, Project Delivery, Media) to support the overall presentation process and experience, as well as key internal meetings and client engagements. Through storytelling and design, you will help set the standard at every pitch and bring best practices across client engagements.
What You'll Do

As Presentation Specialist, you will be responsible for working across departments to transform content into engaging, high-quality presentations. You will combine communication and storytelling principles with design expertise to ensure that all presentations are clear, impactful, and memorable. You will be looked to as an expert in communicating information, emotions, ideas, and data. You will create engaging visuals and narratives for pitch presentations, sales presentations, and other business engagements, and provide guidance to internal teams on best practices.

As a Presentation Specialist your responsibilities will include: 

  • Presentation creation: Develop compelling, high-quality presentations and other visual assets. 

  • Narrative Structure: Understand the overarching communication goals of your presentations, and make content and design choices to help enhance the stories you and the team are crafting. 

  • Content Layout:Organize and structure presentation content, including text, images, graphs, charts, and multimedia elements, to ensure clarity and coherence. 

  • Visual Design:Create visually appealing slide designs, backgrounds, and templates that align with the presentation's message and branding. This includes: 

  • Designing and sourcing photos, graphics, icons, and illustrations 

  • Visualizing data in clear, effective, and unique ways 

  • Ensuring a consistent and clear visual experience through typography, color, formatting, and more 

  • Adhering to brand guidelines and visual identity standards 

  • Slide Transitions and Animation: Apply slide transitions and animation effects as needed to enhance the presentation experience.  

  • Meaningful "surround sound" engagements: Lead, shape, and execute pre- and post-meeting experiential/visual/creative deliverables to augment and amplify agency experience and differentiation.

  • Team Collaboration:Work closely with internal pitch teams, presenters, subject matter experts, marketing leadership, and the new business operations team to transform content, ideas, and data into compelling stories and visuals that deliver on presentation objectives. 

  • Meeting Deadlines:Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines, especially for presentations scheduled for conferences or important business meetings. 

  • Staying current: Keep up with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in presentation design and visual storytelling. 

  • Providing guidance: Support internal teams with visual communication strategies and effective storytelling techniques. 

  • Managing reviews: Incorporate feedback into presentation materials during the review process. 

  • Collaborating externally: Work with external partners, agencies, and vendors to support presentation production and design. 

  • Attention to Detail:Strong attention to detail is essential to ensure that presentations are error-free, visually consistent, and polished to a high degree. 

About You

Your expected qualifications for this role include: 

  • Education:A bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field is ideal but not required. Specialized training in presentation design is highly preferred. 

  • Experience:A background in art direction, graphic design, or presentation design. 

  • Software Proficiency: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, as well as presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, etc. Familiarity with motion, video, AI, and other presentation-enhancing software is a plus. 

$80,000 - $90,000 a year
