What is a slide dispatcher?

Slide Dispatchers are professionals responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of water slides and similar amusement attractions. Their main duties include instructing guests on proper slide usage, ensuring rules are followed, monitoring guest behavior, and responding to any emergencies. They play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards, assisting guests, and helping to prevent accidents or injuries on the slides.
