For more than 30 years, Cornett has specialized in metal, slate, tile, copper and other premium roofing systems for homeowners and commercial clients who value craftsmanship, longevity and architectural distinction.

This isn't about selling the cheapest roof.

It's about helping customers make a significant investment in their property and confidently communicating why a premium roofing system is worth it.

The Opportunity

This is a professional, performance-driven sales role with uncapped earning potential and a realistic path to six-figure income for successful producers.

You'll have the backing of an established company, marketing-generated opportunities, experienced operational support, professional sales tools and more than three decades of reputation behind you.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct professional sales consultations and evaluate customer roofing needs
  • Present premium roofing systems, options and solutions
  • Develop proposals and guide customers through significant purchasing decisions
  • Build trust and long-term customer relationships

  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information within company systems
  • Work closely with estimating, operations and customer service
  • Represent Cornett professionally in the field and community
  • Achieve individual sales and performance goals

Who We're Looking For

We're less concerned about finding someone who knows every roofing product on day one and more interested in finding someone who knows how to sell professionally.

The right candidate will have:

  • A proven track record in sales
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence presenting solutions and asking for the business
  • Excellent follow-up and personal organization
  • Strong personal accountability and competitive drive
  • The ability to work independently while remaining accountable to a team
  • A willingness to learn premium roofing systems and become a product expert
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Central Indiana

Experience in roofing or construction is valuable, but not required.

Successful candidates may come from roofing, remodeling, home improvement, automotive, real estate, financial services, B2B sales or other high-ticket consultative sales environments.

Cornett provides:

  • More than 30 years of industry experience and reputation
  • Premium products that differentiate us from commodity roofing contractors
  • Marketing-generated sales opportunities
  • Existing customer and referral opportunities
  • Structured onboarding and product training
  • Experienced estimating and operational support
  • Professional sales tools and systems
  • In-house roofing expertise
  • A team capable of supporting complex, high-value projects
  • Opportunity for professional growth as the company continues to develop

Compensation

This position is designed for someone who wants their income connected to their ability to produce.

Cornett offers a competitive performance-based compensation package with uncapped earning potential.

Successful producers have the opportunity to earn well into six figures, with compensation increasing as sales performance grows. Specific compensation structure and performance expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
