Job description

Renaissance at Colony Park area — Ridgeland, MS 39157

ABOUT THE ROLE

North Co Commercial Cleaning is hiring two cleaners for a retail store at Renaissance at Colony Park. Store name is shared after onboarding. This is occasional, recurring work — not full-time or part-time — and a good foot in the door with a company that services stores in 34+ states.

THIS IS A 2-PERSON JOB — READ THIS PART

We hire two people separately for this location so there's always coverage. Both of you work the visit together and each of you is paid your own spot. We prefer the two hires not be related or in a relationship — if one of you can't make it, the other still can. You're welcome to bring your own helper, but you'd be splitting your one spot's pay with them; we still hire a second person regardless.

LOCATION, SCHEDULE & PAY (PER PERSON, PER VISIT)

Renaissance at Colony Park — Ridgeland, MS 39157

- First visit: Tuesday, September 8, 2026 — 8:30 AM start

- Store cleaning: every 3 months

- Window washing: every month

- Pay: $95 per person per visit when both services are done the same trip ($60 store clean + $35 windows). Window-only months: $35 per person per visit.

Schedule note: Set dates are firm — the store sends a manager in early to let us in, so they don't move. Tell us up front any days you CAN'T work.

PAY

- Flat per person per visit, listed above. Roughly $32–$42/hr based on typical time on site with two people.

- Check-in, before/after photos, and check-out are done through links we send you.

- Pay goes out 24–48 hours after the job is confirmed complete to the store manager's satisfaction, via Cash App.

- Parking: reimbursed only with a receipt showing date, time in, time out, place, and total.

THE WORK

Store clean: sweep, dust mop, vacuum and mop all floors including edges and corners; remove gum and stickers; dust shelving, fixtures, ledges, and vents; wipe counters and display cases; empty trash and replace liners; clean and disinfect the restroom if there is one; mop the back room.

Windows: clean entry door and storefront glass inside and out; polish handles, sills, and door plates; wipe frames and ledges; remove webs, gum, tape, and debris; squeegee and detail all edges and corners; wipe ledges dry.

Time on site with two people: store ~1.5–2 hrs, windows ~45 min–1 hr. Detailed checklists after onboarding.

REQUIREMENTS

- Must be 21 or older

- Prior cleaning experience (any kind — janitorial, restaurant, warehouse, construction cleanup all count)

- Window washing: must be able to scrub full glass with an applicator and squeegee it off — spray-and-wipe doesn't cut it

- Reliable personal transportation (no rideshare/transit)

- Working phone with a camera for check-in and photos

- Comfortable completing a standard onboarding screening

SUPPLIES

We can provide everything, or you can bring your own. Tell us what you have — all, some, or none.

Store clean: vacuum, mop and bucket (or flat mop with extra pads), broom and dustpan and/or dust mop, all-purpose cleaner, disinfectant, glass cleaner, microfiber cloths, dusting tool, restroom cleaner, scrubber or deck brush for build-up.

Windows: window scrubber/applicator, squeegee, glass solution, microfiber or scrim cloths, scraper/razor, bucket.

Step stool or extension pole is handy for high dusting and window tops — not required.

DRESS CODE

Slip-resistant shoes recommended. Plain blue or black shirt, jeans or non-athletic shorts — nothing ripped, no sweatpants. Hair tied back, clean and presentable.

PHOTOS & CHECK-OUT

Before and after photos of every area, plus a final walkthrough with the store manager before you leave. This is how you get paid fast — more photos is always better.

COMMUNICATION

Our #1 priority. If you can't make a visit, tell us ahead of time. That's the one thing that makes or breaks this.
