Education and Experience
  • Previous valet and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Approximately three years of professional driving experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicle types.
  • Strong knowledge of local roads and surrounding areas.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Must meet all company driving and MVR requirements.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and maintain well-paced mobility for up to four hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull carts and other equipment weighing up to 250 pounds.
  • Ability to run short distances, potentially up to 500 yards multiple times throughout the day, as needed to retrieve vehicles.
  • Ability to frequently enter and exit guest vehicles throughout the shift.
  • Ability to safely work around moving vehicles and maintain constant awareness of guest, vehicle, and employee safety.
  • Ability to transport guests safely in the Company vehicle within a five-mile radius of the hotel.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, and other inclement weather.
  • Valet operations may continue during inclement weather, and employees are expected to report for scheduled shifts unless otherwise directed by Management.
  • Ability to move quickly when retrieving vehicles while maintaining safe driving practices at all times.
  • Must wear comfortable, closed-toe, non-skid shoes while working.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and adhere to all uniform and grooming standards.
