Job description

Skin + Me is a mission-driven start-up with seriously big skin goals.

We’re looking for licensed Doctors / Physicians based in Hungary who are fluent in English and German to join our incredible Medical Team at Skin + Me.

This role will be part of a team that specialises in prescribing Skincare products to patients based in Europe - initially in Germany, using our digital dermatology platform. This is a fully remote role, with the physician based in Hungary.

About the role

Joining the Medical Team at Skin + Me is an opportunity to develop your clinical expertise in Dermatology within a unique, fast-moving and collaborative environment, working alongside some of the best minds in dermatology across Europe.

You will play a key role in delivering safe, effective, and personalised dermatology care to our patients in Germany, while helping us continuously improve how dermatology is delivered digitally.

Previous experience in dermatology is advantageous but not essential - structured onboarding, training, and clinical support are provided for the role.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with clinical humility, sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the confidence to work autonomously.

Who you are
  • Registered Medical Doctor in the Operational Register of Healthcare Professionals maintained by the National Directorate General for Hospitals (Országos Kórházi Főigazgatóság, OKFŐ)
  • Valid specialization in Dermatology and Venereology registered with the OKFŐ
  • Hold a valid medical stamp/registration number issued via the Hungarian system (through the National Health Insurance Fund — NEAK).
  • Hold a valid EU medical licence and are authorised to treat patients in Germany (e.g. German Approbation or recognised EU qualification permitting cross-border care)
  • Based in Hungary, with the legal right to work there
  • Hold a C1 Certificate in Medical German
  • Professional fluency in English, to work with our English Medical Team.
What you’ll do
  • Review patient consultations, assess medical histories and clinical images, and diagnose, prescribe, and manage treatment plans for patients in Germany
  • Be trained to a high level of clinical competency, enabling you to diagnose and manage common skin conditions including acne, melasma, hyperpigmentation and skin-ageing concerns
  • Once trained you will work independently within agreed clinical pathways, making your own prescribing decisions and escalating complex cases when appropriate
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex or atypical dermatology cases ensuring we provide the best care, working closely with our Customer Support Team
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of our consultation model, clinical pathways, and digital workflows within a dynamic start-up environment
  • Maintain a strong focus on clinical quality, patient safety, and prescribing governance
  • Work closely with our in-house medical leadership and wider clinical team. Continuously develop your clinical knowledge through regular CPD sessions with our dermatologists
  • Monitor and uphold prescribing safety and quality standards
Working pattern
  • This is a full-time role, 5 days per week
  • May include some weekend work on a rota basis (e.g. 1 weekend in every 5)
  • Fully remote, working from Hungary
