JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet every customer with enthusiasm and a genuine smile, creating a welcoming environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, exceeding guest expectations with every interaction.
  • Assess and determine each customer’s equipment needs based on skill level and preferences.
  • Perform high-quality tunes, mounting, adjustments, and repairs in accordance with company and industry guidelines.
  • Follow all safety protocols for the use of tools and equipment.
  • Accurately complete work order documentation and prioritize service requests efficiently.
  • Ensure all pricing is accurate, including promotional and advertised specials.
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource, offering expert advice on ski gear and related products.
  • Stay familiar with in-store merchandise, including brands, features, and benefits, to provide tailored recommendations.
  • Remain current on ski industry trends and participate in product knowledge clinics or training camps.
  • Report any suspicious activity or safety concerns to management.
  • Maintain loss prevention standards, including accurate cash handling and minimizing inventory shrinkage.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with ski and/or snowboard tuning required.
  • Minimum 1 year of service technician experience.
  • Background in retail and customer service, preferred..
  • Strong selling skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting customer relationships.
  • Basic computer skills, with a willingness to learn the point-of-sale/register system.
