Salary: $17-$23 DOE

As a family owned and operated sporting goods retailer we are focused on giving exceptional customer service to all customers and potential customers. We pride ourselves in creating a great local shopping atmosphere in store and highly value building long term professional relationships in all facets of our business.

We are looking for someone to join our group who is passionate about taking care of customers and working with ownership and the team to provide a great experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES would include but not be limited to:

  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered, and teaming up with co-workers to provide an excellent sales & service experience
  • Fitting customers with equipment and proper sporting goods
  • Being personally accountable for operational procedures and expectations
  • Maintaining personal and shop productivity goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Builds professional relationships with every customer and potential customer by asking open-ended questions that will help assess their needs.
  • Ability to learn, maintain and share expertise of products, industry and trends.
  • Contributes to a positive, productive and passionate work environment every shift.
  • Needs to be able to work evenings and weekends.
  • Needs to be able to work alone and independently.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 0-3 years of retail experience
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about sports and sporting goods.
  • Able to unconditionally deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Disciplined and focused on results and operational excellence
  • Must be proactive and Initiate completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic computer skills necessary.
