It offers a wide range of services including access to books, digital resources, study spaces, research assistance, and technology lending. The library is a collaboration between SJSU and the City of San José, serving both university students and the public. In addition to academic support, it hosts workshops, events, and provides quiet and group study areas. The library is an essential resource for research, learning, and community engagement at SJSU.

What are the common responsibilities for staff working at the SJSU Library, and how do they collaborate with other departments on campus?

Staff at the SJSU Library typically assist patrons with research, manage circulation of library materials, and support the organization of special collections. They work closely with academic departments and campus organizations to support instruction, develop research guides, and host educational events. Collaboration often involves participating in cross-departmental projects, such as digital archives or community outreach, providing opportunities to broaden skills and contribute to campus-wide initiatives.
