How You'll Make a Difference

You'll be the hands and heart behind dependable material handling equipment. Your work keeps our customers productive, helps protect operators, and reflects the high standards Briggs is known for-every repair, every time.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose, repair, and rebuild material handling equipment, including engines, electrical, hydraulic, brake, steering, and lift systems

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to keep equipment operating at manufacturer standards

  • Work safely and responsibly by following OSHA, DOT, and Briggs safety practices, including blocking, chocking, and welding when needed

  • Document completed work, manage parts and supplies, and maintain a clean, organized work area

What You'll Bring

  • Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a customer-first mindset

  • Three or more years of forklift or related equipment repair experience, along with a high school diploma or GED

  • A valid driver's license and willingness to complete required technical training and certifications

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, work in a shop environment, and participate in an on-call rotation as needed
