POSITION SUMMARY Provides oversight of construction projects, monitoring and documenting progress and ensures adherence to contract and subcontract terms, performance, quality requirements and engineering specification.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Record keeping of project events and project quantities. Contract document review and interpretation. Site inspection of the work for compliance with the contract documents

Materials testing. Organize and participate in project meetings. Efficiently use basic software including Word and Excel.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. College degree in a related field is preferred, but not required. Maintain a valid Driver's License.

INDOT certification credentials of Certified Technician and INDOT SiteManager are preferred, but not required. A strong understanding of Algebraic concepts is required. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished inwritten, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to follow company QC/QA procedures. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes outdoors, and some physical exertion may be necessary.
