Key Responsibilities
- Provide EHS support across site activities and coordinate with operations, project and construction stakeholders on safety-related matters.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor activities to support compliance with applicable health and safety regulations and project guidelines.
- Review EHS plans, program and related documentation for alignment with project requirements and legal obligations.
- Identify potential EHS compliance risks that may affect project delivery and support development of practical resolution strategies.
- Carry out inspections, support accident and incident investigations, track safety performance data and prepare required reports.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, program and manuals related to environmental, health and safety needs.
- Participate in the delivery of safety training for employees and support engagement with relevant regulatory representatives where required.
- Bachelor's degree in EHS preferred, or equivalent study in a related field required.
- At least 5 years of construction and/or industrial safety experience required.
- At least 5 years of environmental and safety program management experience within construction environments required.
- Strong understanding of federal, state and local health and safety regulations and the ability to apply them in a site-based setting.
- Ability to produce accurate reports, analyze information and work with detailed documentation and spreadsheets.
