About the Position:

Jay Pope Contracting is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Fuel Delivery Driver / Laborer to join our team for a large on-site construction project. This position plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by safely delivering fuel to various equipment and maintaining strong communication with multiple crews and companies on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company fuel truck or service vehicle around a large construction site.

  • Deliver fuel to tanks, generators, heaters, and other on-site equipment as needed.

  • Maintain accurate fueling logs and documentation.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and external contractors.

  • Ensure all fueling activities are conducted safely and in compliance with regulations.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicle and fueling equipment.

  • Perform general labor duties as required to support site operations.

Qualifications:

  • Clean driving record is a must (Motor Vehicle Report will be checked).

  • Must pass drug test and background check — verified by third-party on-site security.

  • Previous experience in fuel delivery, heavy equipment operation, or construction labor is preferred but not required.

  • Strong organizational skills and a professional, service-oriented attitude.

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-focused.
