About the Role
The Site Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced warehouse environment ranging from 300,000 to 600,000 square feet. You will provide the vision and direction for a large team of supervisors and hourly associates, driving operational excellence and implementing scalable processes. Your mission is to deliver on daily and short-term plans that achieve both customer service and financial objectives, ensuring that Stord's "four walls" operate as a seamless, world-class node in our national network.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage day-to-day inbound and outbound activities, truck loading/unloading, and warehouse organization to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
  • Manage, coach, and develop multiple supervisors and a large hourly workforce, conducting performance reviews and creating career development pathways.
  • Execute strategic labor planning and adjust staffing schedules in real-time to meet fluctuating operational demands and peak season surges.
  • Assist the Director in delivering the facility-wide operational budget, tracking revenue and expenses, and managing site KPIs.
  • Establish and deliver strict targets for safety, efficiency, and quality while ensuring all staff are trained on Stord's standard methods and programs.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Excellence team to provide a superior customer experience and maintain professional relations with strategic partners.
  • Lead facility-wide projects and influence operational performance improvements across areas both within and outside your direct control.

Basic Requirements:
  • 4+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proficient in utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), material handling equipment (MHE), and various industrial storage systems.
  • Ability to analyze data to identify challenges and reach beneficial conclusions regarding operational performance.
  • Strong ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, as well as present information effectively to clients and executives.
  • Proven history of planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects simultaneously while setting clear priorities.
  • Technical Literacy: High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in Food Grade warehousing and high-volume distribution.
  • Practical experience with LEAN methodologies and process optimization.
  • A demonstrated history of taking on increasing responsibilities within a high-growth 3PL environment.
