Schedule

Only work 36 hours, but get paid for 40!

1st Shift: 6:00 AM- 6:30 PM (12 hour shift) Friday, Saturday and Sunday

**Please note training will take place for the first few months during normal operating hours: 6 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Thursday and 6 AM - 10 AM on Friday

Position

As a composite technician you will assembles components by laying composites and materials such as pre-impregnated carbon fiber and fiberglass cloth onto molds & processes parts through molding operations.

Composite Technician Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the hand layup of advanced composite materials on designated tooling per specific work instructions and customer specifications.
  • Performs advance composite operations to include trimming, vacuum-bagging, basic repair, material preparation, weighing, finishing, and molding operations.
  • Inspection of in-process and finished product using hand measurement tools and other tests procedures may be required.
  • Record keeping of inspection results where required.
  • Responsible for work orders and time calculations to ensure the quality of the product while providing suggestions for improvement.

  • Ability to comprehend and follow written specifications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent hand dexterity and coordination.
  • Ability to maintain a clean & organized environment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
