Senior Trust Administrator | Single Family Office (Hybrid)

A full-service private family office supporting multiple generations of a founding family across alternative investments, trust administration, and integrated wealth management. The office serves several family households with complex investment partnerships, trusts, and foundations, and operates in a highly collaborative and sophisticated environment.

The Senior Trust Administrator supports the administration of family trusts and the operations of a regulated Private Trust Company (PTC). This role ensures adherence to fiduciary standards, legal requirements, and internal policies, while serving as a key liaison between family members and internal teams. The position reports to the Vice President, Trust Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead designated trust and client relationships, overseeing day-to-day administrative activities
  • Draft and review discretionary distribution requests and annual account reviews in accordance with PTC policies and procedures
  • Support the onboarding of new trusts into the PTC
  • Prepare materials for PTC committee meetings and family trustees, document outcomes, and execute approved decisions
  • Assist in developing and refining trust administration processes and workflows
  • Collaborate with accounting on distribution calculations, income and principal allocations, and cash management
  • Prepare annual long-term cash flow projections for family trusts
  • Partner with tax professionals to coordinate trust tax compliance and ensure timely, accurate filings
  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of educational content for beneficiaries and internal teams

Qualifications and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in trust administration or trust and estate planning
  • Bachelor’s degree required; CTFA or law degree a plus
