The Semi Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting goods over long distances, operating both dry van and reefer trailers. This role accommodates both single and team driving assignments with a mixed scheduling pattern, including scheduled weekly loads and on-call deliveries. Drivers are expected to manage route planning efficiently, maintain compliance with safety regulations, perform routine vehicle inspections, and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers. The company supports owner-operators, lease-on trucks, and provides company trucks, offering flexible options for drivers. Drivers also have the option to book their own loads as they please


Responsibilities

  • Drive semi trucks on long-haul routes as a single driver or part of a team
  • Plan routes to optimize delivery schedules and fuel consumption
  • Perform thorough vehicle inspections and routine maintenance
  • Secure loads to ensure safety throughout transit
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
  • Manage fuel usage efficiently
  • Communicate promptly and effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Report incidents or mechanical issues as they arise

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles

Preferred Qualifications
