Single Mom information

What is a single mom?

Single moms are women who are raising one or more children on their own without the support of a spouse or partner in the household. They may be single due to divorce, separation, widowhood, or by choice. Single moms often balance multiple responsibilities, including providing financial support, caregiving, and managing household tasks. Despite the challenges, many single moms build strong support networks and thrive in their roles.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a single mom, and why are they important?

Single mothers benefit from strong time management, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities, often developed through experience rather than formal qualifications. Familiarity with online parenting resources, financial planning tools, and support systems such as childcare programs can be highly useful. Resilience, adaptability, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for managing family dynamics and external responsibilities. These skills help single moms maintain stability, provide for their children, and successfully balance the demands of work and parenting.

What support networks and workplace accommodations can help single mothers balance their professional responsibilities and parenting duties?

Single mothers often benefit from supportive work environments that offer flexible scheduling, remote work options, and family leave policies, enabling them to manage both job and parenting obligations more effectively. Many companies also provide employee assistance programs, childcare resources, or parent support groups that foster a sense of community and practical help. Seeking out employers who actively promote work-life balance and connecting with local or online single-parent networks can be invaluable for both career advancement and personal well-being.

Both roles involve nurturing and responsibility, but the Childcare Worker typically requires specific certifications and works in formal environments, whereas a Single Mom's role is more personal and flexible.

Job description

About Roger
Roger is an AI platform that frees home health clinicians from paperwork so they can focus on what matters: delivering life-changing care to our most vulnerable elderly patients in the comfort of their homes. Backed by leading healthcare investors like SignalFire, we've powered millions of visits, deployed to thousands of clinicians, and we're just getting started.
Job Overview
We are searching for an exceptional Sales Development Representative who lives for the hunt and thrives in high-growth environments. This role is ideal for a proven top performer who consistently beats outbound quotas and wants to accelerate their career in a category-defining healthcare AI company.
You will be the first point of contact for leaders across the home health industry, opening conversations about how AI is transforming clinical workflows and helping agencies support clinicians more effectively. The right candidate brings strong outbound muscle, infectious energy, and a genuine interest in improving healthcare through technology.
If you want to join a rocket-ship team, drive high-impact AI partnerships across healthcare, and directly influence better care for elderly patients, we want to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities
  • Outbound Prospecting: Drive high-impact campaigns through phone, email, and LinkedIn to connect with home healthcare decision-makers. Consistently exceed quota targets.
  • Discovery: Run effective qualification calls to understand prospect needs and buying journey. Map key stakeholders and decision process.
  • Pipeline Management: Own both inbound and outbound leads in Hubspot. Maintain meticulous activity tracking and data hygiene.
  • Product Expertise: Master Roger's AI platform value proposition, articulating how it saves clinicians time and improves patient care.
  • Territory Growth: Build pipeline for highly engaged opportunities with an average deal size of $50k. Your outbound efforts directly contribute to large, meaningful wins in a fast-growing market.
  • Market Intelligence: Share frontline insights to help refine messaging and go-to-market strategy.

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Sales DNA: Natural hunter with proven track record of exceeding outbound quotas.
  • Drive: Brings unstoppable energy and creativity to prospecting challenges.
  • Communication: Masters both active listening and articulating complex solutions simply.
  • Healthcare AI Passion: Excited about transforming patient care through technology.
  • Organization: Maintains meticulous pipeline management and follow-through.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced environments and quickly adopts new approaches.

Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ years exceeding quota as BDR/SDR in early-stage startups. Must thrive in high-growth environments. SaaS and healthcare experience is a plus.
  • Technical: Proficient with Hubspot and quick to master new tools.
  • Results: Consistent history of exceeding quota through data-driven approaches.
  • Resilience: Sees rejection as opportunity; maintains high activity levels.
  • Process: Strong at time management and systematic problem-solving.
