We are a locally owned home healthcare company dedicated to helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers who are certified medication passers and passionate about providing exceptional care.

Position Summary

As a Home Health Caregiver / Medication Aide, you will provide personalized support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, medication administration, companionship, and overall well-being. This role is ideal for individuals who are caring, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality client-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Safely administer and document medications according to company policies and care plans.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands as needed.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication with supervisors and family members when appropriate.

In order to support them, she decided to finish her nursing degree specializing in Geriatric care. Graduating in 2012, she provided care to several clients. When her client roster began to overflow, she solicited friends to join her and founded Superior Care Iowa in 2014. Superior care Iowa has grown to a team of 100 caregivers including her two eldest children. Susan has a saying "Once a part of the Superior Care family, always a part of the Superior Care family!"
